Edge Management Systems Inc. is celebrating 25 years in the POS (Point Of Sale) industry. We started in 1986, utilizing some of the first personal computers on the market. Initially, we sold a DOS version with very limited features, in terms of what we can offer today. This application was rock solid and even though it is no longer supported, is still to this day, is in use in over 200 businesses.

Of late, we are still on the cutting edge of technology, programming with the most up to date development tools. We are a strong proponent of the windows environment and have incorporated numerous aspects of the operating system into our program. For example all reports are generated and printed through the Internet Explorer browser portion of the Windows operating system. As a result we are one of a handful of POS software developers to have achieved a level 3 (of 4) in the Certified Microsoft Developers Network (MSDN)

Program

The Edge Management software is a program developed for the Windows environment. We utilize a single Microsoft Access Database to store your info. There are numerous programs on the market utilizing old DOS file formats that claim to be developed for Windows. They may work in Windows but were not designed for it. To the novice, this may be deceiving. It would be like buying a Ferrari, only to check under the hood and find the motor of a Volkswagen.
