Edge offers online booking which ties directly into edge's appointment section. 

Internet booking is very simple with the Edge program.  The concept is to have a link on your current website or one that we can develop for you, that would allow a client to book their own appointments from the comfort of their own  home or office without having to physically contact you via phone.  For a busy person, this can prove invaluable. 

How often have you thought about something you should have done through a normal workday that because of your hectic schedule slipped your mind and when you did think about it the business was closed.

We looked at quite a number of competitors online booking sites available while developing this.  The majority of these simply send a for an appointment rather than fully synchronizing the request with your up to the minute data.  The Edge online booking will actually create the appointment and the corresponding sale for you.

Edge has the capabilities to handle centralized warehousing where products are being purchased for an organization, through a distribution center (warehouse) and distributed to various store locations (sites) through that warehouse.

The warehouse must have a software license (a purchased copy of the EDGE program) and must establish at the time of purchase EXACTLY how many sites will be utilizing this service. The cost of the service is dependent on the number of sites allowed to connect.

Edge also offers a standalone program for chains to administer changes to be made to the data throughout the organization. This can be accomplished through the chain administration utility program.

This will allow the administrator to add items such as a product line or make changes to existing data once at head office. These changes can then be saved and distributed to all of the sites. They would then run this program and it would add the changes made at the head office to each of the sites. This eliminates the need to make the changes in each location and prevents user error that may occur if each site had to make the changes manually.

The chain administration utility is not licensed per site. The chain can purchase this utility and use it in an unlimited number of locations.

The EDGE program is designed to utilize gift / loyalty / membership or employee access cards. Some of these can be produced directly through the program on business card stock. However for those who may wish to produce a volume of these cards we can provide the service for you.

These cards can be produced in orders of 1,000-25,000 lots with the price dependent on the amount ordered. These cards can be produced with barcodes or magnetic stripes.

As an option the Edge system is set up to administer Gift certificates that are sold within an organization that can be redeemed at multiple locations. For example a gift certificate or gift card can be sold at site #1 and be redeemed at site #2. This feature does require that each site has Internet access as the centralized database is maintained on an Internet server .

We can provide Internet Server space for your online Gift certificate needs. The cost for hosting is dependant upon:

The number of sites connecting to the server The Time period for your subscriptions You can host your own Gift certificate server. We can also provide Java Scripting components as well as Java server assistance.

You have the ability at each site to view the certificates stored on the server. This can be done using a number of sort options such as:

 

A specific range of certificate numbers
The store responsible for the original sale
A date range for specific certificate sales
Or any combination of these options

 

This feature also incorporates a queuing feature which will store the information for future posting in the event that your Internet access should be lost for any reason.
