Online Booking
At the beginning, we were hesitant about implementing online booking.
It started off slowly, but after communicating this option to our
clients we were pleasantly surprised to discover an alarming number
of clients that preferred this method over the usual booking over
the phone. It has significantly minimized the amount of time on the
phones which gives our crew the benefit of not having to be interrupted
and leave their clients to answer phones. The option of online booking
with our salon has also given us a competitive advantage which has
proven to be relevant and significant.

I am writing this letter to let everyone out there know of my experience
with Edge Managements Simply Accounting Edge Link system. I opened
my business 3 years ago and for the first 2 years I would enter all
of my daily sales into my accounting program by hand. At the end of
each year I would hand my books over to my accountant at which time
she would inform me that my numbers were so far out that we would
have to go back and re-enter every month. After hours of re-entering
numbers and spending a small fortune on book-keepers and accountants
Cliff at Edge let me know about Edge Link. I was very skeptical as
I am not a computer person at all and thought that it would be more
work than what I was already doing. I finally decided to give it a
try after my last bill from my bookkeeper came in the mail. Cliff
walked me through step by step on how to set up and work the link.
The first time I did a transfer I thought that I had done something
wrong because I couldn't believe how fast it was. With a click of
the mouse, seconds later all of my data was transferred from Edge
into my Simply Accounting program, which if entered by hand would
have taken me a few hours. I truly believe that Edge Link is worth
every penny and I believe it paid for itself with the first transfer.
If you don't have Edge Link set up I recommend you give it a try.
